This year is going to be very, very different for me. I am recently divorced and my daughter will be with her dad this Christmas (since it’s an even year, he gets Christmas according to our custody rules). I have never NOT been with her so we are trying to make the best of the changes. Since I won’t be with her on Christmas Day, I plan on volunteering in a homeless shelter to help cook meals for Christmas.
