Chocolate Mousse Cup Hearts

Oh my, how I wish I had a little cup of this chocolate mousse right now. It’s what my heart wants! dan i never fell outta my chair for chocolate-and i LOVE chocolate so i guess i’m making this! wish me luck i don’t bump my head when i fall!


Chocolate Mousse Cup Hearts

Chocolate heart shaped bowls filled with luxuriously smooth chocolate mousse.

Ingredients
Chocolate Heart Cups

  • 24 ounces melted and tempered pure dark chocolate or melted confectionery coating/candy melts

Chocolate Mousse

  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 12 ounces melted semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 cups whipped cream made from 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Optional garnish

  • fresh raspberries
  • red heart sprinkles


Instructions
Chocolate Heart Bowls

  1. Spoon about an ounce of chocolate into one heart shaped cavity in your silicone mold.
  2. Brush the chocolate up the sides of the mold adding more chocolate as needed to create a nice shell. Let the chocolate set slightly then add a second layer.
  3. You will use approximately 2 ounces of chocolate per heart shaped bowl.
  4. Repeat creating 12 heart bowls.
  5. Refrigerate until completely set then remove and un-mold.

Chocolate Mousse




  1. Pour water into the bottom of a saucepan set over medium high heat.
  2. Add sugar and allow to come to a boil.
